Q:  What’s the future of the printed page? Where is 
it going? Will it be a valid medium in 25 years?

A:  My sense is that media don’t die, that the 
printed page did not displace actors or 
storytellers, that radio did not supplant the stage, 
or movies supplant radio, or television replace 
movies, except that they were the leading media. 
But the other media stuck around and they just 
developed to what they should be actually, for 
what media really is. And so I don’t see paper going
